Overview

SHIB Store is a small scale online shop that wanted to sell T-shirts online quickly to ride on the increasing popularity of a meme token during a cryptocurrency bull market.

Process

Being a small scale apparel seller, SHIB Store contracted me to build a simple online store to sell T-shirts and publish the site as quickly as possible.

They gave me the free rein on the design and layout of the site. So I built the site using WordPress and the Divi theme and installed WooCommerce to handle all the e-commerce part of it.

For the design, I leveraged using the color scheme and design elements of the cryptocurrency token it supports such as the moon illustration, the token’s logo and dog emoji.

I also integrated a cryptocurrency payment gateway as a new form of payment for users to pay with crypto in addition to the usual debit/credit payment methods.
